Connected Bradford Health and Environment
The Connected Bradford Health & Environment research project aims to develop the methods to examine and analyse the relationships between the environment and health and well-being outcomes amongst people in the city of Bradford, UK. The project will develop novel geospatial research methods to aggregate environmental indicators and link these to detailed individual-level primary and secondary care data from 700,000 citizens in Bradford.
The MAPURBAN projects aims to bring to light differences in access to urban resources across the socio-economic and ethnic profile of three major cities. By comparing migrant arrival and settlement in Stockholm, Berlin and London, the project will integrate existing data on spatial inequality and urban segregation, and show how these affect migrant mobility and integration.
The Urban Dynamics Lab at UCL is part of a five year EPSRC-funded research project (UK Regions Digital Research Facility) bringing together expertise from across UCL (Space Syntax, Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, Geography and Computer Science), to explore and address questions at the intersection of city and regional economic development and urban modelling, data analytics and computing.
